Melbourne weekend auction tipping

There's now a website, www.propertytycoon.com.au, where punters can guess auction five results in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, with no outlay. It's mostly about testing your market knowledge with a small cash prize as a sweetener.

One of the five Melbourne properties this week is 20 Marquis Street Ashburton, a renovated four-bedroom family home being auctioned by Marshall White.

"The property has been very well inspected and competitive bidding is expected on Saturday," says Mark Armstrong of Property Tycoon.

"The property last sold in 2000 for $387,000 but has had some serious work done on it since this sale."
