As Palazzo Versace sells, check out 15 global flashy fashion-branded hotels

Inspired by Gold Coast’s Palazzo Versace hotel – which recently sold for $68.5 million – Property Observer has compiled a round-the-world guide to fashion designer hotels.

The trend first started in 2000 with the opening of Palazzo Versace and has now extended to Milan, Paris, Jamaica and London, to name a few destinations.

Luxury fashion designers that have jumped on the fashion branded hotel hype include Armani, Oscar de le Renta, Bulgari, Moschino, Missoni and many more.

Hotel Bellechasse, Paris

Rooms in the luxury Hotel Bellechasse are all individually decorated by French fashion designer Christian Lacroix. Hotel Bellechasse offers stylish and arty accommodation in the chic and trendy seventh arrondissement.
