The rare opportunity to purchase land on a golf course has arisen in Byron Bay, with an asking price over $1 million.
Located on Broken Head Road, the north-western corner of the 18-hole course comes with approval for a three-lot subdivision.
To entice potential buyers, the successful purchaser will receive a one year free club membership valued at $850.
The 2.35-hectare property – to be sold as one lot – will also come with a buggy track to the land.
Located five kilometres south of the CBD, the Byron Bay golf course is situated opposite The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa.
“How many other blocks of this size with privacy do you know of on a golf course, 500 metres to the beach and only minutes from town?” says the secretary manager of the club, Peter Swaby.
The land went to market late November and is being sold by Jeremy Bennett from Byron Bay Property Sales.
Offers close February 18.
