ANZ boss Mike Smith's salary freeze: Tweet of the day

Announcing the nine-month financial results, ANZ chief Mike Smith says the salary for many executives at the bank including himself, will remain unchanged. The bank reported solid growth over the last nine months in a subdued lending environment. In 2011 Smith was paid $5,005,515.
