A $3.2 million Millers Point penthouse weekend sale reflected a 13% decline on its previous $3.7 million sale in 2006.

It first sold off the plan in 2001 at $3.65 million. It's in a Pottinger Street block of 33 apartments, the Parbury, a Mirvac-Transfield-built residential complex in the Walsh Bay Sydney Theatre precinct.

Spanning two levels and 338 square metres, it came with three bedrooms, with large terrace with views across the rooftops of terraces in The Rocks. Its quarterly strata levy was around $7900.

It had been listed for August mortgagee auction with $3.5 million hopes.

It was the week's second highest sale, according to the RP Data top 10 sales list.

The list was topped by a near new Vaucluse clifftop duplex that fetched $3,275,000.

Melbourne sales dominated the list with six sale, the priciest being $2.8 million in Hawthorn.
