Former Cat Ben Graham takes another punt at selling his Canterbury house

Ben Graham, the former Geelong  AFL player, has taken another shot at selling Raasay, his house in the leafy Melbourne suburb of Canterbury. It's listed for December 8 auction.

The former Geelong captain and the first Australian to play in the NFL Super Bowl in the US expects more than $3 million.

The 1900s Canterbury residence, set on a 1,945-square-metre block, features an Art Nouveau veranda with timber fretwork. Inside there are ceiling roses and Wunderlich ceilings.

It has been listed through Marshall White agent Joe Muinos and James Tostevin, having last traded at $2.45 million in 2006 with its classic William Morris wallpaper. It was previously for sale through Kay & Burton.

Graham played for the Geelong team for 11 years before departing to the US, where he played in the National Football League in 2005 as a punter. He has since played for the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, Arizona Cardinals and, more recently, the Detroit Lions.
