How Observatory Place takes advantage of it's parkside location in the ever evolving Parramatta

Parramatta, Sydney's rapidly growing second CBD, is set to welcome a new architectural marvel that captures the essence of urban living combined with a park side location.

Parramatta locals, Ellerson Property tasked Forward Projects with handling the build of Observatory Place, which is currently underway at 7 Parkes Street, with the collection of residences nestled alongside the picturesque Jubilee Park.

Boasting a prime central location, the development offers a private sanctuary while immersing residents in the vibrant urban lifestyle that Parramatta has to offer.

The creation of Observatory Place involved a meticulous design process, including a Design Excellence Competition and substantial planning investment, all aimed at maximising the development's design and social outcomes. The result, a stepped design that follows the solar path, flooding the residential apartments with natural light and providing an open plan layout.

Working in collaboration with architects Aleksander Group and interior designers, Tony Caro Design, Ellerson Property will transform the former site of the Lone Star Tavern into a 24-story building, with 173 apartments with one, two and three-bedroom options, along with a ground floor retail and dining precinct.

Recessed balconies provide residents with privacy, while the building's stepped design grants raised terraces that overlook the lush green expanse of Jubilee Park.

Internally, the apartments feature a number of considered design details, from built-in wardrobes, internal laundries and dedicated study spaces, with resident's also set to benefit from ensuites, lift access, and intercom systems.

The benefits of Observatory Place's park side location extend beyond its immediate surroundings.

A mere 300 meters away, residents will find Westfield Parramatta, a premier shopping destination offering a wide range of retail options. The Parramatta Transport Interchange, located just 450 meters away, provides seamless connectivity to various parts of Sydney, making commuting a breeze.

Food enthusiasts will delight in the vibrant Eat Street, a lively culinary hub only 650 meters from Observatory Place.

The development is also just short 750 meters from Parramatta Square, a thriving urban precinct that encompasses commercial, retail, and entertainment spaces. And for those who need to travel to Sydney's city centre, a 30-minute train ride or a 35-minute drive is all it takes.

One-bedders in Observatory Place are priced from $530,000, while the three-bed options top out at just over $1 million.
