Landmark launches The Macquarie Collection to busy Macquarie Park precinct

Developer Landmark has unveiled its newest apartment development, The Macquarie Collection in Macquarie Park, a suburb is undergoing a full transformation led by some of the state's largest developers.

Landmark, who have previously developed the 1300-apartment Lachlan's Line in Macquarie Park, have launched the first building of three buildings at 5 Halifax Street, near the North Ryde Metro Station.

It's the highest density tower of the three by a considerable margin, with 256 apartments across 28 levels. The other two towers are just six levels, with 28 and 16 apartments in each.

So far there's been a real mix of demographics showing interest in The Macquarie Collection. Even some investors are starting to creep back into the market.

Meyer says as long the suburb has the key fundamentals of amenity and transport, then there's no reason to be dedicated to develop in one area. 

"We're not working in new suburbs," Meyer says.

"These are established suburbs with all of the infrastructure already in place. It takes out the guess work of whether growth can occur in a suburb or not. As long as there's the fundamentals buyers look for, then growth comes hand in hand."
