Construction has started on Niecon’s Mermaid Beach apartment project, Ventura Residences.

The renowned construction firm Hutchinson Builders have been appointed as head contractors, with completion for the 45-apartment project slated for mid-2023.

The Ventura Road development, just 250 metres from the Mermaid Beach sand, has been a hit with owner-occupiers, who have snapped up all of the two-bedroom apartments on offer.

There's still a handful of three and four-bedroom north-facing apartments, which feature city skyline and ocean views, as well as two exclusive villas.

Both the villas front the serene Mermaid Park and include upgraded Miele appliance packages and stone benchtops.

Villa One spans 374 sqm of living space across its two levels, and features four-bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two car spaces.

Villa Two is spread over three levels and features a private rooftop terrace with ocean views.

Spanning 308 sqm, Villa Two has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, and also has two car spaces.

Since its first projects in 1978, Niecon Developments has become one of the leading property development companies on the Gold Coast.

They've appointed the equally regarded Hutchinson's one of the most in demand construction firms across Australia. They date back well over a century.

Founded in 1912, current chairman, Scott Hutchinson, is now the fourth generation Hutchinson to preside over the business, with their extensive workbook seeing the group deliver around $2.5 billion worth of projects annually, including everything from sports stadiums to hotel towers.
